Sarova Mara Game Camp is located in the heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in South West Kenya, 260 km from Nairobi. A 40 minute flight from Nairobi, the camp is a 20 minute drive from the ---- airstrip and a 3 hour drive from Nairobi on the new tarmac road.

Spread over --- acres, Sarova Mara Game Camp is set on an elevation surrounded by two streams. The Camp is uniquely laid out over the sprawling grounds that include rolling manicured greens, a virtual mini forest of indigenous shrubs and exotic trees, a large pond stocked with fish, mini bird sanctuary and an authentic Maasai Village adjoining the Camp.

Overview

Governors' Camp has a peaceful setting in the forest along the Mara riverbanks, in the northern Masai Mara. The camp combines a traditional safari feel with a touch of luxury. Being unfenced, it's common to see hippos grazing on the lawns, while crocodiles bask in the river below.

Tents are comfortable and clean, and each has an en suite bathroom with a hot shower and flushing toilet. There's no electricity in Governor's Camp, but gas and paraffin lamps add to the traditional safari atmosphere.
